Our client a small IT company with around 160 people mostly software engineers was unable to scale up HR support to the businesses, though the company had employed a HR Manager and two HR Executives , the support by the HR teams was perceived as reactive administrative function , the HR department worked with minimum policies on attendance , holidays and travel, employees would not look at HR for guidance, support or mentoring.
We were invited by the top management to suggest them changes in HR to create a people friendly , business supporting , proactive HR team.

Our consultants post doing their due diligence they contracted with the company to do HR functional audit , and the audit looked at their complete workflow, processes, policies created, communicated and implemented by HR teams.
Our consultants also assessed the competencies of the HR teams and provided them with development plan for each one of them. When we revisited the client – they have improved in a certain areas such as Proactiveness for employee queries and issues, they also have created couple additional policies and processes for employee engagement, employee safety and health, and retention of top performers. HR Manager and team has become sensitive to businesses and people in the organization.
